The Belgian Bone Club was delighted to invite you to its 2022 BBC Clinical Update Symposium which took place virtually on January 22, 2022.
As you must be aware, the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic is still strongly present in our daily lives and an important surge in the number of cases in Belgium has forced the Organizing Committee to opt for a fully virtual Symposium.

Live broadcasting of the sessions & live Q&A with the on-site speakers on January 22, 2022

Access to the recordings after the event, for a duration of 6 months (until the end of July 2022)

Virtual platform: All connection details, practical information and access codes will be sent in due time to all duly registered participant (around 1 week prior to the event)
You can easily request your credentials on the e-congress platform, with the email address used for your registration.

INAMI/RIZIV Accredition: 3 credit points
To be credited, you will have to fill in an online form available on the virtual platform (this form was only be accessible on January 22, 2022)

THE BBC BEST CLINICAL PAPER OF THE YEAR 2021

Dear Colleagues,

We have the privilege to let you know that, the Belgian Bone Club will allocate, this year, a grant of 1.000 € to the Best Clinical Paper of the year 2021.

Applications should reach the Belgian Bone Club office (spees@uliege.be), not later than November 14, 2021 and should include:

  • A short CV summary of the applicant (one A4 page),
  • A PDF of the publication or the manuscript with the proof of its acceptance, provided by the Journal where it was submitted, published or accepted between November 2020 and November 2021.

The recipient will be awarded during the Annual “Clinical Update Symposium” of the Belgian Bone Club, which will take place on the 22nd of January 2022. She/He will need to be present at this event to give a five-minute talk presenting her/his publication.

Applicants should be no older than 40 years on 1st of January 2022 and should not have been awarded for the same prize in the last 3 years. Moreover, applicants have to be a BBC member who is up-to-date with his/her membership fees and has his/her activity in Belgium.

THE BBC BEST PRECLINICAL (BASIC RESEARCH) PAPER

Dear Colleagues,

We have the privilege to let you know that, the Belgian Bone Club will allocate, this year, a grant of 1.000 € to the Best Basic Research Paper of the year 2021.

Applications should reach the Belgian Bone Club office (spees@uliege.be), not later than November 14, 2021 and should include:

  • A short CV summary of the applicant (one A4 page),

THE BBC BEST PROJECT

Dear Colleagues,

We have the privilege to let you know that, the Belgian Bone Club will allocate, this year, a grant of 1.000 € to the Best Project of the year 2021.

Applications should reach the Belgian Bone Club office (spees@uliege.be), not later than November 14, 2021 and should include:

  • A short CV summary of the applicant (one A4 page),
  • A brief description of the project (maximum two A4 pages),
  • A short description of the facilities where the project will be managed.

The recipient will be awarded during the Annual “Clinical Update Symposium” of the Belgian Bone Club, which will take place on the 22nd of January 2022. She/He will need to be present at this event to give a five-minute talk presenting her/his publication.

Applicants should be no older than 40 years on 1st of January 2022 and should not have been awarded for the same prize in the last 3 years. Moreover, applicants have to be a BBC member who is up-to-date with his/her membership fees and has his/her activity in Belgium.
